Dr. Riz Lakhani has been a licensed acupuncturist since 2013, and he considers it an honor and privilege to be able to serve people by delivering acupuncture and PEMF therapy to the community. Riz is a resident of Maryland with his wife and three children. Riz’s journey to becoming a practitioner of acupuncture began when he was a youngster who was interested in philosophy, learning early on that he wanted to use his time on this planet to help people live fuller and better lives.
Riz obtained his Master of Acupuncture graduate degree from the Maryland University of Integrative Health and has also studied orthopedics and sports medicine acupuncture extensively. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Dr “Riz” graduated from the University of Maryland and worked in wireless telecommunications before deciding to learn acupuncture and become an acupuncturist to fulfill his lifelong dream of being a force for positive change for people.
While being very satisfied with his work with acupuncture he discovered that there were health issues that acupuncture couldn’t adequately resolve. He discovered PEMF Therapy in 2016. As Riz learned more about PEMF’s, he knew that it was something he wanted to offer the patients in his practice because it could do so much more for them than acupuncture alone. Riz spent the next two years researching and preparing to get a high intensity PEMF device to be able to use in his clinic, and the rest is history. He now uses PEMF therapy every day alongside acupuncture and could not imagine life without PEMF as a tool to help people. Riz is now excited to take the next step of working with the DrPawluk.com team to educate and advise others about how this marvelous technology can help support their health.
